Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | From the prohibition of trading in alcohol in the mosque to the chapter on what a man said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and what we prayed
Sample Text
Chapter on the prohibition of trading in alcohol in the mosque. Two servants told us, on the authority of Abu Hamza, on the authority of Al-A’mash... on the authority of Aisha, who said, when the verses were revealed in Surat Al-Baqarah regarding usury, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out to the mosque and read them to the people, then forbade the trade in alcohol. ... Chapter on the man’s saying to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and what we prayed... So the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went down to Buthan and I was with him, and he performed ablution and then prayed the afternoon prayer, meaning after the sun had set, and then part of it prayed the sunset prayer.
