Missing the first and the last. #1 - The last erased leaf. 2 - By comparing this copy with another copy in the library, numbered in the year 373, we concluded that this manuscript in our hands is Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih (Sahih Al-Bukhari), Part One. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
