Notes	This copy contains corrections, comments, and footnotes. - At the end of the text, the name of Mustafa is mentioned, and I think he is the copyist. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	(Chapter: Traveling is a piece of torment.) Abdullah bin Maslamah, H. Malik, told us, on the authority of Sami, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Travelling is a piece of torment. It prevents one of you from eating, drinking, and sleeping, so when he fulfills his hunger, let him hasten to his family.” Chapter {And when they see trade or distraction, they rush to it}. He said: Muhammad ibn Fudail told me, on the authority of Husayn, on the authority of Salem ibn Abi al-Ja`d, on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him. He said: “A car approached while we were praying Friday prayers with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the people dispersed except for twelve men.” So this verse was revealed: {And when they saw a trade or diversion, they dispersed to it, and left you standing}.
