The copy is incomplete at the end. | The author of the book, Maher Taher Ismail Al-Barzanji, said about the time of writing the book: None of the authors of biographies and classes mentioned the time in which Ibn Malik wrote his book Mubariq al-Azhar, but he wrote it in the eighth century, and perhaps he wrote it before the middle of it, and God knows best.

Praise be to God for the gift of guidance and Islam and the gift of knowledge and information, especially with the explanation of the Hadith of the Best of Humans... And then he says... Al-Ma’rouf Ibn Al-Malik... When he explained the aspects of the article and the authenticity of the transmission in the outcome, knowledge became the highest beacon and accessible... and among the best of it is the knowledge of hadiths... and among the luxurious books that have been classified in it... the book Mashariq Al-Anwar in Sihah Al-Akhbar, for it is arranged in exquisite arrangements and laden with brilliant methods... and it had explanations, some of which were simple that misled what was sought and some of which were intermediate and resolved. What is meant is, so I began to control myself and seek God’s help every day and evening to explain it in a way that would tell about the secrets and jokes of its expressions... And I called it Mubaariq Al-Azhar in Sharh Mashariq Al-Anwar... ...Abu Hurairah said: When I returned from him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when the first person to meet me was Omar, I mentioned the hadith to him. Then Omar struck my breasts with his hand, so I fell down to console myself, and he said: Go back, so I went back, so I mentioned the hadith to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. What happened, Omar came after me and said, may God bless him and grant him peace: O Omar, what made you do what you did? He said, O Messenger of God...
