The copy is precious. On the title page there is an exquisite drawing in gold and lapis lazuli, in which the title of the Sahih and the name of Imam al-Bukhari are written in gold, and on the first page there is a plate decorated with many colors, representing a wonderful shape, and its lines are written in gold. Likewise the last panel in the Sahih, all of which are perfectly correct in shape. The heads of the doors are written in gold. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
