Corrected version. | Date of death of the copyist: 902 | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

That the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said regarding the prisoners of Badr.. ... Chapter on the virtues of Abdullah ibn Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with them both... On the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of his sister Hafsa, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to her that Abdullah is another righteous man, Part Six.
