The fifth part ends with page 329/B. | The date of completion of the book's writing was confirmed from the Library of the Chief Writer, No. (194); It was stated in it: “The author, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said that his collection, Ahmad bin Ali, was completed... on the first day of Rajab Al-Farad in the year one hundred and eight forty-two, except for what he added to this booklet on the twelfth of Rajab of that year. He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began explaining it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God.” | “From the beginning of the explanation to the end of the chapter on shortening the tamattu’ after Umrah.”

Praise be to God, who has explained the hearts of the people of Islam with guidance... Now it is time to begin what I have mentioned of explaining Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih... and I named it Fath Al-Bari for the explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari... ... His statement is the chapter on shortening the hair of a person performing tamattu’ after Umrah, i.e., after starting from it... so that his hair grows out, so it is better for him to shave, otherwise it is to shorten so that the shave falls for him during Hajj...
