A good copy with reading notes and some transcription differences, with a few footnotes. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

(Chapter on stoning in the prayer place) Mahmoud told me... on the authority of Jabir that a man from Islam came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and confessed to adultery... ... (Chapter on the saying of God Almighty {And We set fair scales for the Day of Resurrection})... “Two words that are light on the tongue and heavy in the scale, beloved to the Most Merciful. Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.” May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
