Notes	He said at the end: It is followed by the fourth part, and its beginning is the book of Al-Aqiq. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. \| (It begins with the chapter on the days of pre-Islamic times, and ends with the chapter on the Almighty’s saying: {Then when you are fed, disperse.})
