It contains corrections, comments, footnotes, and transcription differences in the margin. - This copy bears the Greek symbols, and it is most likely that it was copied on the Greek copy as well as on a copy of Abu Dhar’s narration. | Date of death of the copyist: 1228 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
