Praise be to Him who has made us acquainted with the hadiths of the Prophet with the news of the Companions and Followers, and has the honor of revealing their meanings in the explanation of the commentators... As for what follows, the science of hadith after the Qur’an is the best and most honorable of sciences, in that with it one knows the details of all the meanings of the Qur’an, so it is necessary first to know the names of the narrators... ...and looks into the situation of the debtor and the bankrupt, and sits where the council ended, and the conclusion is not possible to express and report and no one is allowed to edit and interpret, and I am satisfied with this amount, working with what is not fully comprehended and not abandoned. Glory be to Him, and praise be to God who facilitated the sealing of the book for us... The book has been completed.
