Notes and comments: The copyist wrote the text generally in black ink, and used red ink to write the word ((chapter)) during the text, on a newly made ink. It includes some interview corrections and reconciliations. The first of them bears a seal with the name of Abdul Basit, and the first and last of them bears the seal of the Habib Kanj Library. This copy of ours was briefly described in the Aligarh Catalog: Descriptive Catalog 2/362 with the preservation number: Same.

(Praise be to God, to whom praise is due in the first and the hereafter...), and then this is a summary of the news of Imam Abu Abdullah Al-Bukhari, pointing out his status and the importance of his affairs, even if his affairs are famous and his status is popular, but in detail there is something that is not in general, and I have cited them with a brief chain of transmission in most cases, and most of what I have cited is from the book ((Shama’il Al-Bukhari)) written and published by Imam Abu Jaafar Muhammad bin Abi Hatim Al-Razi... I collected it from miscellaneous books of the Imams. The trustworthy trustworthy men and women used it with an inkling that I had never seen before, and I made it mentioned to anyone who wanted to take a path to knowing it. Then God granted him forgiveness and satisfaction, and the clouds watered his shrine with two thorns as long as the two new ones differed and the two slumbers agreed...
