Praise be to God who explained the issuances of the people of Islam to the Sunnah, so I obeyed its followers and was comfortable listening to it.... Now then. The first thing in which I spent the precious things of the days... is the Book of God that is traced and the Sunnah of His Chosen Prophet... And I saw Imam Abu Abdullah Al-Bukhari in his Sahih collection and he took issue with quoting from their splendid lights... And I sought God Almighty to add to it a summary explaining its benefits and clarifying its purposes... in ten chapters... ...he mentioned his return to Bukhara... Al-Hasan said, and the duration of his life was sixty-two years, minus thirteen days, may God have mercy on him. God Almighty.
