It is heavy with comments, footnotes, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. - He wrote on the cover of the copy: “Part Six of the Thirty.” - The first is missing. - An index of the chapters of the Sahih was made on the binding of the volume. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

الحمدُ للهِ الَّذي وقفَ أسرارَ أعمالِ عبادهِ، والصلاةُ على رسولِه وآلِه، صلاةً دائمةً دوامً الأبدِ وزيادة، وبعدُ: قدْ وقفتُ هذه النُّسخةَ الشريفةَ مع ثلاثينَ أجزاء وقفًا صحيحًا مؤبًّدا ووضعتُها دارَ الكتبِ الَّتي في مدرستِي، وشرطتُ أن لَا يخرجَ إلَّا بالرهنِ الغال {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ} الآية. وأنا الفقيرُ الحاجُّ محمَّدٌ راغبُ بنُ محمَّدٍ سعودٍ أفندي عُفِي عنهما.
