Incomplete, and the first of them to be found: And in a version with individuals, Malik al-Imam al-A’zam, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, Abdullah bin Dhakwan, on the authority of al-Araj, Abdul Rahman bin Hurmuz, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw a man stealing a camel, and he, peace be upon him, said: “Ride it. The Messenger of God said, ‘It is a camel of sacrifice.’ He said, ‘Ride it with your hand on the second or on the third, and use that as evidence from the endowment rents’… Incomplete, and the last of them that is present is: Abdullah.” The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to let his hair down with a fatḥah salutation, a sukun, and a kasr of the neglected dal, i.e. his forelock hair, on his honorable forehead.
