It is the second part of the second half... in the year one hundred and twenty-three after the Prophet’s Migration.” - The end of the sixteenth part in paper (389/b) at the end of the chapter on the story of Aqal and Arina... This was the year one hundred and twenty-three after the Prophet’s Migration. | Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 1124 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
