The first panel is decorated with floral motifs in lapis lazuli and gold, and framed in gold. - At the beginning of it is the text “Talk” multiplied by the name of its owner, and its date as stated (on the blessed Wednesday, the tenth of the good month of Safar, of the months of the year 1154). - The readings on this book were for several sessions for the same reader and reciter. - I wrote the chapter headers and the breaks between the sentences in red ink.

Praise be to God, the eraser of tears and the runner of the pen... He said... Radhi al-Din Abu al-Fadayl al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saghani... As for what follows, since I ascended to the ranks of honor and graduated from the paths of extravagance, I have applied the slingshots of determination to the heights of glory... knowing what I suffered in composing and arranging it, and struggled to categorize and refine it, and called it “The Orients of Prophetic Lights from the Sahihs of the Chosen Ones... ...
