This copy has a different font, as on page 225 and elsewhere. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Book of Deceptions... Chapter on the deception of the worker in order to obtain guidance for him... Musaddad told us, Yahya told us, on the authority of Sufyan, he said: Ibrahim bin Maysara told me, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Sharid: that Abu Rafi’, Saad bin Malik bargained for a house for four hundred mithqals, and said: Had I not heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He says: “The neighbor has more right to his righteousness.” What I have given you has completed the blessed part of Sahih Al-Bukhari.
