Sheikh Al-Zarkashi said... Praise be to God for what he has spread over the blessings and limited to clarification and understanding... As for what follows, in this dictation I intended to clarify what occurred in the Sahih of the venerable Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, from a strange wording, or ambiguous parsing, or a difficult lineage, or a narrator whose name is feared to be misrepresented, or an incomplete piece of news whose continuation is known, or an ambiguous knowledge of its truth, or something related to it that can be avoided or the conformity of the hadith made clear. For tabulation... and the learned person can almost do without explanations... and I called it refinement due to the words of the correct collection.... (Indeed, from what people have realized) by raising (if you are not ashamed, then do whatever you want)... (bayd) meaning other than (and al-mughir) as well as with the meem and its correctness with the nun. Al-Hafiz Abu Dharr said it, meaning because of his great kindness to him. And the rest of the hadith preceded in faith. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
