Such-and-such chapter occurred without translation in all the narrations, and it is like the chapter of what came before it because it relates to the statement of those who witnessed Badr. He narrated to us and he narrates. He narrated to me with the singular, a caliph with the opening of the kha’ in the dictionary... and he is Ibn Khayyat with the opening of the kha’ in the dictionary and the tightening of the tadiyah. Abu Amr Al-Hafiz Al-Asfari died in the year two hundred and forty-six... ... Chapter: How many battles did the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, have conquered? Al-Bukhari - may God have mercy on him - concluded his book of battles in the manner with which he began, returning to the beginning. ...Conclusion: The book Al-Maghazi included marfo’ hadiths and their rulings on five hundred and sixty hadiths, of which seventy-six hadiths are suspended, and the rest are connected... It contains forty-two narrations on the authority of the Companions and Followers - may God be pleased with them - other than what was mentioned in the Musnad regarding what is subject to the ruling of raising the subject, and God Almighty knows best what is correct.
