“Chapter on the words of God Almighty: {O you who have believed, fear God and be with the truthful}” in their faith, to the exclusion of the hypocrites, or with those who did not lag behind, or with those who were truthful in God’s religion in intention, word, and deed. Al-Hafiz Al-Asqalani said, “And I think that the author alluded, by mentioning the verse, to the story of Ka’b ibn Malik... ...on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Whoever sits in a gathering and there is a lot of confusion in it, he said: That he should rise from that sitting, Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You. He will be forgiven for what happened in that sitting. This is the wording of Al-Tirmidhi, and it is said by Hassan Sahih from Fath Al-Bari. Praise be to God, who enlightened our hearts with the radiance of the suns of the Prophet’s hadiths and illuminated our chests with the brilliance of the moons of the Chosen Ones’ relics...
