Notes	The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, following the bears around the bowl... ... Chapter on those who prayed for the removal of epidemics and fevers... “O God, make Medina loved for us as we loved Mecca... and remove its fever and make it a shield.” The twenty-fourth part of Al-Bukhari’s book was completed in thirty parts, followed by the twenty-fifth part, the beginning of which is the book on medicine, with the praise and help of God.
