The manuscript's physical condition is good, with traces of moisture. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Incomplete, and the first of the existing ones: Al-Kalabadhi said: If what he said was true, then Masruq did not hear from it. Al-Khatib said: It is correct for him to recite ( ) mawl, and some of them write it with an alif. I say: This treachery does not benefit him, as stated in the Hadith of Al-Ifk in Al-Maghazi. Masruq said, “Umm Ruman told me, his saying ‘grew from development, which is education and raising’... is incomplete. Al-Hamdani was a virtuous worshiper. He said: Al-Halim means the Forbearing, the Merciful. He is incomplete. The last of the existing ones is: Chapter on the saying of God Almighty: [And God took Abraham as a friend]. His saying: Abu Maysara is opposite the starboard. Omar bin Sharhail Al-Hamdani was a virtuous worshiper. He said: Al-Hamdani means the Forbearing, the Merciful.
