He says... Muhammad bin Abdul-Daim Al-Bar Mawi... Praise be to God... And after: Since the most authentic hadith book of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the book of all... Al-Bukhari... and the highest chain of narrations in it was three, which is what was between Al-Bukhari and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace... And it was limited to twenty-two hadiths... I wanted to organize it clearly into verses of razzaz... ...and when he looked at this pamphlet... Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani said that the verses should be added to that. To draw attention to this, he composed a verse... which is: This number with the repeated * is completed in six and ten**, so he restricted it and omitted the ta’ in it at a limit, then he followed it with six of Shawwal, with the condition that the counted number, if omitted, is like that, and otherwise, and God knows best.
