I wrote the titles and words of our story, as well as the frames, in red ink, while I wrote the rest of the text in black. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | From the Book of Marriage to the chapter on God’s saying {And We set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection}

Chapter on enticing marriage according to the words of God Almighty {So marry as many women as please you... the verse} ... Saeed bin Abi Maryam told us... that he heard Anas bin Malik say: Three men came to... ... Chapter on the saying of God {And We set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection}... to the Most Merciful, two light on the tongue and heavy in the scale. Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.
