Notes
The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Almighty said, “Indeed, we revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.” ... Chapter on the meeqat of the people of Medina, and they should not perform the ihram before Dhu al-Hulayfa... Abdullah said, “I was informed that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “And the people of Yemen should perform the ihram from Yalamlam.” The first part was completed, followed by the second part.
