Praise be to God for the blessings that are widespread and limited to explanation and understanding... As for what follows, in this dictation I intended to clarify what occurred in the Sahih of the venerable Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, from a strange pronunciation, or ambiguous parsing, and difficult lineage, or a narrator whose name is feared to be misrepresented, or an incomplete piece of news whose continuation is known, or an ambiguous knowledge of its truth, or a matter in which they are delusional, or closed speech that can be avoided, or the conformity of the hadith to the tabulation, or clarifying the conformity of the hadith to the tabulation... and the discerning person can almost do without it. About the explanations... and I called it the revision of the words of the correct collection... . ... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, “And We set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection, and that the deeds and words of the sons of Adam will be weighed... And its conclusion with the hadith of Two Heavy Weights in the Scales states that deeds will be weighed, and what it included of the occasion has become clear, as appears in its opening with the hadith of intention, as if he is purifying himself... And Glory be to God, and praise be to Him, the fullness of the scales, the utmost knowledge, and the reach of contentment... His author, may God have mercy on him, said: I finished it on the eighth of Dhul-Qa’dah al-Haram in the year eighty-eighth. Seven hundred completed the book, thanks to God’s help, help, and good success.
