Notes	The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	(Book of Tarawih Prayer) (Chapter on the virtue of one who prays in prayer during Ramadan) Yahya told us... He said about Ramadan: “Whoever prays in prayer out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” ... (Chapter on buying and selling with the polytheists and the people of war)... A sale or a gift? - Or he said: - Umm Heba. He said: No, rather he sold, so he bought a sheep from him. He completed the twelfth part of Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih... and it is followed in the thirteenth by the chapter on buying the mamluk from the Harbi, giving him a gift, and freeing him. Praise be to God alone.
