The humidity affected it badly. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

He told him that the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - sent his letter to Khosrow, so he ordered him to give it to the Great of Bahrain, and the Great of Bahrain would give it to Khosrow. When Khosrow read it, he tore it up, and I thought that Saeed bin Al-Musayyab said, so the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - called on them to tear up everything torn. The third volume was completed.
