It contains comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. | Date of death of the copyist: Alive in the seventh century AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Book of Dress, Chapter on the words of God Almighty: {Say: Who has forbidden the adornment of God which He has brought forth for His servants}. Chapter: Whoever lets someone else’s girl play with him, or kisses her, or flirts with her. The end of Part Forty-One, Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, is followed by Part Forty-two, the chapter on having mercy on a child, kissing him, and hugging him.

وقَفَ هذا الجزءَ المباركَ من جملةِ خمسينَ جزءًا من «صحيحِ البُخاريِّ» رحمةُ اللهِ عليْهِ العبدُ الفقيرُ إلى رحمةِ ربِّه صفيُّ الدِّينِ جوهرُ بنُ عبدِ اللهِ النبويُّ الملكيُّ الناصريُّ، تقبَّلَ اللهُ منه وجعَلَ مقرَّه بالمكانِ المعروفِ بالنسابةِ على ما ذَكَرَ في كتابِ الوقفِ وقفًا صحيحًا، {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيم}. وذلكَ في شهرِ جُمادى الآخرةِ من سنةِ ثمان عشرة وسبعمائةٍ
