Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 931 AH = 000 - District 1525 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Book of Medicine: God does not send down any disease without sending down a cure for it. ...Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, and We set just scales for the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, the deeds of the sons of Adam and their words will be weighed... Ahmad ibn Ashkab told us, Muhammad ibn Fudail told us, on the authority of Amara Ibn Al-Qaqa’, on the authority of Abu Zur’ah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, heavy in the scale. Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.
