“The book of holding fast” is a fabrication of infallibility, which is immunity, and “holding fast” is holding on to something. The meaning here is holding fast to “the Book,” meaning the Qur’an, and “the Sunnah,” which is what came from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, of his sayings, actions, report, and what they intend to do. This translation is quoted from the Almighty’s saying: {And hold fast to the rope of God all together}... ...on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said. He greeted the one who sat in a gathering and became disturbed and said to get up from that gathering. Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You. He will be forgiven for whatever he was in that gathering. This is the wording of Al-Tirmidhi, and it was said by Hasan Sahih from Fath Al-Bari.
