Praise be to God who explained the Sunnah to the hearts of the people of Islam, so they were led to follow it and were comfortable listening to it... As for what follows, the first thing on which the precious things of days were spent... is preoccupation with the Islamic sciences learned about the best of creation... And I saw... Al-Bukhari in his “Jami’ al-Sahih” took issue with quoting from its splendid lights... And I sought the help of God Almighty to add to it a summary explaining its benefits and clarifying its purposes... The discussion of it, God Almighty willing, will be limited to ten chapters. ... ...Al-Hasan said that his life span was sixty-two years and thirteen days, may God have mercy on him... The end of the book, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.

عليها وقفٌ هذا نصُّه: «أوقَفَ هذا الكتابَ الشريفَ عبدُ المطلبِ ابنُ المرحومِ الشريفِ غالبِ ابنِ المرحومِ الشريف مساعد الحسني، على شرطِ أن لَا يخرجَ من مكَّةَ المشرفةِ، {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سمِعَه فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ}.#عليها تملُّكٌ غيرُ واضحٍ يظهرُ من نصِّه: «... العبدُ الفقيرُ السيِّدُ عليُّ ابنُ المرحومِ السيِّدِ عليٍّ زاده ... 300».#وقفيَّاتٌ: ختمُ ونصُّه: «خزانة كتب السلطانِ عبدِ المجيدِ خانة موضوع بدار كتاب».
