He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began explaining it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God.”

Praise be to God, who explained to the hearts of the people of Islam the Sunnah, so they were led to follow it and were comfortable listening to it, and killed the souls of the people of tyranny with heresy after they had gone too far in their disputes and gone to extremes in inventing it. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, the One who knows the submission of hearts and their abstentions, who is familiar with the consciences of hearts in their states of separation and reunion, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger against whom the word of falsehood declined after it rose and was connected to His Messenger. Anwar al-Huda and its proof appeared after its cessation, may God bless him and grant him peace, as long as the heavens and the earth... ... His saying, “If you purify yourself for this day of yours, if only for wishful thinking, then you do not need an answer,” or for the condition and the answer is omitted, its estimation would have been good, and it occurred in the hadith of Ibn Abbas with Abu Dawud that this was the principle of the command to wash for Friday prayers... It was completed.
