He wrote the words Bab and Hadathna in Al-Hamra, and left a blank space for the main headings to distinguish them. #- The first is an ornate and colorful introductory panel, all of its pages are framed. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Book of Hajj In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Chapter on the obligation and virtue of Hajj... Chapter on the virtue of Aisha, may God be pleased with her... O Umm Salamah, do not harm me regarding Aisha, for by God, the revelation has not descended upon me while I am under the quilt of a woman other than you. The second volume has been completed.

وقَفَ هذه النُّسخةَ الشريفةَ طلبًا لمرضاةِ اللهِ تعالى وأخرجه عن ملكِه بحيثُ لَا يُباعُ ولَا يُرهَنُ بمدرسةِ خسروية بمدينة سراي بوسنة، وأنا أحقرُ العبادِ إلى رحمةِ ربِّه الناصرُ أحمدُ عاصم ابنُ محمَّدٍ المدعو بين الأقرانِ بمتولي زاده، عفى عنهما بلطفِه وكرمِه، سنةَ 1269هـ، ووضع ختم فيه إسم: أحمد.
