(Muhammad bin Yusuf Al-Farbari said) one of the narrators of the Sahih from Abu Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari (mentioned on the authority of Abu Abdullah) is Al-Bukhari (on the authority of Qubaisah) is Ibn Uqba, one of Al-Bukhari’s sheikhs, that (he said, “They are the apostates who apostatized during the reign of Abu Bakr, so Abu fought them.” Bakr, may God be pleased with him)... and this comment was attributed by the Ismaili on the authority of Ibrahim bin Musa al-Jurjani... on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and all his family.
