(In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The Book of Expenditures) The plural of “expenditure” is derived from “nifaq,” which is destruction. It is said: “The animal spent, spending in excess, it perished, and the dirhams spent, spending in excess, that is, they ran out... ... This is a (chapter) with the nunation (in the basin)... and I am from it, and the basin will return to me” and the hadith. -May God bless him and grant him peace- With your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful, O Lord of the Worlds, and God knows best what is right.
