It has holes.# Documentation sources: Al-A’lam (6/34), Kashf Al-Zunun (1/541). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter: How did the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, begin? ...Chapter on amending how much is permissible... The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said (Any Muslim whom four people testify is good, God will admit him into Paradise). We said, “And three.” He said, “And three.” I said and two. He said (and two). Then we did not ask him about the one. Done and continue, thank God.
