The pages of the copy are disassembled and separated from the binding, so they are in dire need of re-binding.# The text was written in black, tangy, water-based ink in general, and the copyist used red ink to write “He told us” and green ink to write the chapters on a French-made, satin white ink in which the parallel lines appear. Date of death of the copyist: (000 - 1170 AH = 000 - 1756 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
