Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.... Al-Saghani said... Praise be to God, the reviver of the wretched, the flower of the pen, the scatterer of nations, and the creator of the breeze, so that they may worship Him and not associate others with Him. He said... Muhammad ibn Mahmoud ibn Ahmad... And if what is meant is the truth as it is, it is called the definition of the genus, and the definition of the truth, and if it is an individual among its individuals, it is called the definition of the covenant, and if it is the individuality in general, it is called the definition of generality and absorption... ... (Q) Salamah ibn Al-Akwa’, may God be pleased with him, O Ibn Al-Akwa’, so make sajah... with a hamza cut off, a silent sīn with a broken jim, then a neglected haa, and its meaning is gentle and good, that is, do not take it harshly, for spite has occurred against the enemy. God Almighty knows best, and this is the end of the first part of Al-Ishraq in Sharh Mashariq Al-Anwar.
