Notes	In the first of them, he mentioned a statement of the Greek symbols, in which he listed the narrators. \| Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 1285 AH. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, imposed Zakat al-Fitr as a saa’ of barley or a saa’ of dates on the young, the old, the free, and the owned. God Almighty knows best.
