The beginning is an index of the chapters of the book, inside a gilded frame, and the beginning is an introductory plate decorated with gold and colors. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his saying: {Indeed, We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him} the verse... ...Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, and We set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection. And indeed, the deeds of the sons of Adam and their words will be weighed... Ahmad ibn Ashkab told us, Muhammad ibn Fudail said to us, on the authority of Amara Ibn al-Qaqa’, on the authority of Abu Zar’ah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Two beloved words to the Most Merciful.” Light on the tongue, heavy on the scale. Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great

وقفٌ: «هذا مما وقفه سلطانِ الزَّمانِ الغازي سلطان سليمٍ خان بنِ السلطان مصطفى خان عفى عنهما الرحمن سنةَ 1217هـ».#جاءَ على صفحةِ العنوانِ ما نصُّه: «قيلَ: إنَّه نسخةُ يوسفَ أفندي زاده رَحِمَه اللهُ».#قُوبِلَتْ على نُسْخَةٍ أخرى دَلَّتْ عليها فُرُوقْ النُّسَخِ الَّتي بالهامشِ.#بأوَّلِها تقييداتٌ وفوائدُ عليمةٌ في حدودِ ثلاثِ ورقاتٍ.#مثقلةٌ بالحواشِي والتَّعليقاتِ على هوامشِها وبينَ أسطرِها.#في آخرِها جدولٌ بعنوانِ: «ذِكْرُ عددِ ما لكلِّ صحابيٍّ في «صحيحِ البُخاريِّ» موصولًا ومعلقًا على ترتيبِ حروفِ المعجمِ» في حدودِ ثلاثِ ورقاتٍ تبدأُ منَ الصفحةِ [573/ب] وتنتهي عندَ الصفحةِ [757/أ].
