The first one is incomplete. - It has very thoughtful comments and quotes in its footnotes. - It has an important insertion of the text, which should be singled out for refinement and verification due to its preciousness, despite the fact that the copy is late. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
