The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

(Chapter: Whoever slaughters someone else’s sacrifice) Then he mentioned the hadith of Aisha, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered upon me lazily while I was crying, and he said: “What’s the matter with you?” I said: Yes. He said: “This is a command that God has decreed for the daughters of Adam.
