Notes	The handwriting changed from folio 146/a to folio 151/b. - Corrected some comments. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	“Chapter on the sending of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Muttalib... may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Ahmad bin Abi Raja told us, he said, Al-Nadhar bin Abi Hisham told us... on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: It was revealed to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when he was forty years old, and he stayed for thirteen years. Then he was ordered to emigrate, so he migrated to Medina, where he stayed for ten years, then he died, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Saints... And then there was one from Hatib bin Abi Balta’ah to some of the polytheists in Mecca informing them of some of the Prophet’s command... Omar said, “And the saying of God Almighty was revealed about it: ‘O you who have believed, do not take my enemy and your enemy as allies.’ He said, ‘I do not know the verse in the hadith or the words of Omar...’ Then he said, ‘O Prophet, tomorrow the believing women will come to you, pledging their allegiance to you...’ So they gave in charity, and Bilal spread his garment, and they began to recite the opening and the last verses in Bilal’s garment, part four, and praise be to God alone...”
