Notes
The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and God Almighty said, “Indeed, We have revealed to you just as We revealed to the prophets after him.” Al-Humaidi Abdullah bin Al-Zubair told us.... He said, “I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that deeds are but by intentions, but to each person is what he intended... ...Chapter on the saying of God, Blessed and Most High, and We set the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection... Mujahid said: Justice is between justice in the Roman language, and it is said that justice is the source of justice, and it is just. As for the unjust, he is the unjust... Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.
