The book of expenses is the plural of “expenditure” derived from “al-nufaqan”, which is “destruction”, and it is said: “The expense of an animal is spent as a result of its destruction, and the expense of dirhams is spent as a loss”, meaning it was lost, and the man spent the money, his money was gone... ...because if the speaker is truthful about the same matter, then the one who throws it is an unbeliever, and if he is lying, then the one who throws it has made faith into disbelief, and whoever makes faith into disbelief has made such-and-such an unbeliever, Al-Bukhari described it...
