It has a copy preserved at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University in Riyadh, No. (1927), registration No. (41662). - The colophon data was adopted from the copy of Part 18 of the book, No. 1927, in the library. | Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 883 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The end of the third hadith is from the chapter on the killing of Abu Rafi’ Abdullah ibn Abi al-Haqiq, then he follows it with the chapter on the Battle of Uhud, like this: He turned it around and I caught up with my companions before they came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Chapter on the Battle of Uhud. ...in the middle of the first hadith from the chapter on the Umrah of the judiciary.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمدُ للهِ الَّذي وقفَ أسرارَ أعمالِ عبادهِ، والصلاةُ على رسولِه وآلِه، صلاةً دائمةً دوام الأبدِ وآباده، وبعدُ: قدْ وقفتُ هذه النُّسخةَ الشريفةَ مع ثلاثينَ أجزاء وقفًا صحيحًا مؤبًّدا ووضعتُها دارَ الكتبِ الَّتي في مدرستِي، وشرطتُ أن لَا يخرجَ إلَّا بالرهنِ الغال {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ} الآية. وأنا الفقيرُ الحاجُّ محمَّدٌ راغبُ بنُ محمَّدٍ مسعودٍ أفندي عُفِي عنهما
