It has frequent white spots, which the copyist did not notice. | The date of composition was mentioned in the copy: (the third day of the month of Shawwal, which is one of the months of the year 1241 AH); This date is after the author’s death, and most likely this is an illusion on the part of the copyist. The date of completion of the composition was confirmed from the copy of the Al-Arousi Library within the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Library with the number (general number: (42195); special number: (3163)).

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... And then he says... Muhammad bin Ali Al-Shafi’i Al-Shinwani God has granted me the ability to read the summary of Al-Bukhari by Imam Abdullah bin Abi Jamra... along with reading some of the commentators on the book and some of the commentators on Al-Bukhari, and during the reading I collected some words on my copy. Then when it was the year one thousand and ninety-five, he asked me... to read the aforementioned book and collect the writing that I stuck in the margin of my copy along with reviewing some of the commentators on the book and reviewing Fath al-Bari... so I answered him to that... ... I bestow My pleasure upon you; That is: He sent it down to you... So the reward for blessings is to see the greatest lover, as is the doctrine of the Sunnis, contrary to those of the heretics who forbid it. O God, seal for us the seal of happiness... and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
