Missing is the first from the beginning of the Sahih, the end of the last hadith in the chapter on writing knowledge. - It has comments, footnotes, and transcription differences in the margin. - It was written in a Moroccan script. - It has severe blurring on some of the leaves. - We confirmed the fragmentation of this part by looking at the next copy of it in the National Library in Paris (681). - We confirmed the date of copying by looking at the last part of the book, which is the fourth book, in the copy of the National Library in Paris (683). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

From the end of the last hadith in the chapter on writing down knowledge, then it begins with the chapter on knowledge and preaching at night. ...Chapter: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, hated for Medina to be exposed. It will be followed, God willing, by the Book of Fasting.
